Celebrate with us on Friday, May 24th at a Family Fun Day at the VVCC Pool.
Everyone – not just Verde Village residents – is invited to swim that day for only $1 each.
This marks the beginning of the swim season. The VVCC pool is open 11 am – 7 pm Tuesday through Sunday through Labor Day as weather permits. It is at 4855 E Broken Saddle Dr in Cottonwood.
And when you get hungry from frolicking in the pool, a BBQ of hamburgers and hotdogs along with beverages and chips will be available for purchase on opening day May 24th.
In preparation for the Community Pool opening, the VVCC is looking for volunteer Pool Monitors.
As there is no lifeguard on duty at the pool, volunteers monitor admission, facilitate safety by ensuring that the rules are followed, and sell refreshments.
In exchange for one 4-hour volunteer shift a week, the monitors get free swimming all season for their immediate household. Email [email protected] to volunteer.
As a volunteer-run organization, the VVCC depends on the goodwill of neighbors to provide these community services.
