VVCC is celebrating National Good Neighbor Day by “Connecting Neighbors with Neighbors” in a Virtual Connection Challenge.
By completing a series of challenges beginning September 14th and ending September 28th, you can win PRIZES!
The challenges involve meeting your neighbors and connecting with the VVCC, then posting photos and comments to the VVCC Facebook and Next Door pages.
This Challenge is open to all: VVCC members, non-members, residents of Verde Village or the greater community.

This challenge is for “Connecting Neighbors with Neighbors” by asking you to interact with your neighbors and the Verde Village
Then share with us on Social Media: the VVCC Facebook page and VVCC Next Door page.
Use #VVCCchallenge for all postings so we can count and attribute them to you.
Post both a photo/video and description as asked for in each challenge.

Complete one of these challenges to be in the drawing for one of five $20 gift cards of your choice. The more you complete and enter, the more chances you have at a gift card. You have one entry for each challenge you complete, so it is possible to win more than one prize.
Complete 10 of these 12 to be in the drawing for the $100 grand prize gift card of your choice..
- Take a selfie at the Community Center showing the building. Post it along with what you like about the Community Center.
- Join as a member or renew your membership. Post saying you did what you would like to get out of membership.
- Take a picture of you and your family or friends eating a meal together. Post what you most enjoy about it.
- Take a picture of you helping a neighbor and post it with how you helped OR Take a picture of a neighbor helping you and post it with how they helped you.
- Schedule a tour of our Community Center for rental and take a photo at your favorite spot. Post it, saying why it is your favorite spot.
- Take a picture of you and a neighbor at the Duck Pond. Post what you like about the Duck Pond now and what improvements you would like to see.
- Meet a new neighbor on your block and take a photo together. Post what you have in common.
- Take a picture of yourself borrowing a book or donating a book at the Free Library at the Duck Pond or the Community Center. Post it with the name of the book.
- Take a picture of yourself and a neighbor picking up trash along the roadside in your neighborhood. Post it.
- Post a suggestion for a VVCC gathering next year on Facebook and Next Door using #VVCCchallenge.
- Visit President Aislinn at the Community Center Office for your free community bag during office hours Tuesday & Thursday 9:30am – 1:30pm and take a photo. Post with your favorite item in the bag.
- Record a short video of you saying or singing, “Verde Village Community Connection, Connecting Neighbors with Neighbors!” Post it on Facebook and/or Next Door.

The right to use posted photographs, video and/or written comments and the right to reproduce, use, exhibit, display, broadcast and distribute and create derivative works of these images and recordings in any media now known or later developed.
