The Verde Village Community Connection (VVCC) challenges anyone from home chefs to culinary professionals to our friendly Chili & Cornbread Cook Off competition on Saturday, November 16th.

The public will be tasting all the different flavor profiles to vote on the “people’s choice” winners for cash prizes. The chili categories are “with beans” and “without beans” and the cornbread categories are “savory” and “sweet.”

The VVCC asks cooks to bring their signature chili and/or cornbread by 4 PM and the public is invited at 6 PM for a complete dinner, including salad, beverage and dessert.
VVCC member price is $15, $20 for non-members and $7 for children under 11. This is a fundraiser and all proceeds will be used for improvements to the VVCC community facilities.
