Attention youth aged 6 to 18 who love to fish!
The Verde Village Community Connection (VVCC) is sponsoring a free Fishing Tournament on Saturday, November 18th from 8 AM to 2 PM.
Bring your own bait and rod to catch and release at the Pond on East Del Rio Drive. No fishing license is needed because this is our private property.
Prizes will be awarded in each age category of 6 to 11 and 12 to 18 for most fish caught, largest catfish and largest carp. Youth under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration opens at 8 AM. Come and fish for as long as you like, just be sure the judges inspect your catch and record your number and size by before releasing it. Last fish out by 1:30 PM. Winners will be announced at the end of the day at 2 PM.

Refreshments including burgers and hot dogs sponsored by Cowboy Club will be for sale.
All proceeds go to the VVPOA Pond fund to find alternatives for this property after water coming from the Verde River is phased out in January 2025.
